Therese

Therese was born and raised in SoCal, then moved to New Jersey for college. After grad school, she moved to Roanoke with her 4 bunnies and 2 guinea pigs. Therese works full time at Emergency Veterinary and Specialty Services and is working on getting her LVT license. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, crocheting, making clothes, and playing video games. She loves outdoor activities and is taking advantage of all the trails here in Roanoke. There is a special place in her heart for senior animals and she enjoys fostering them until they find their forever homes, where they can live out their golden years to the fullest!

Christina

Christina’s love of animals was nurtured as a small child by her mom, who routinely put on nature TV shows and VHSes, such as Growing Up Wild, The Kratt Brothers, Zaboomafo, and The Crocodile Hunter. She didn’t know she was a cat lover until she and her mom met and adopted their first cat, Tangelo. From day one, she was smitten with kitties of all shapes, sizes, and colors! Today, Christina and her husband have rescued five cats in the span of four years: Finnich, Freya, Skye, Mochi, and Ember. Christina is ecstatic to work for The Toebean Cat Café, because the happiness, health, and well-being of The Toebean Kitties are of utmost importance to Stephanie!
